Terms of
Service.
These terms govern use of Stratify, an invited pilot service operated by Stratify Labs. By signing in with your mailbox you agree to them. If a written order form or enterprise agreement exists between us, that document controls wherever it conflicts with what's below.
01 Who we are
Stratify is operated by Stratify Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation. "We", "us" and "Stratify" refer to that company. "You" refers to the individual or organisation using the service.
02 Pilot status
This is not a production service yet.
Stratify is currently in an invited pilot. Features may be added, changed or removed on short notice. We maintain reasonable reliability but make no formal uptime commitment during the pilot window. Service-level agreements begin at general availability.
Do not route anything safety-critical, legally binding, or time-sensitive through a pilot-status AI feature without human review. Summaries and drafts are assistive; you remain accountable for what you send.
03 Your responsibilities
- Authorisation. Only connect mailboxes you are authorised to access under your organisation's policies and the applicable law.
- Review before send. Drafts generated by Stratify require your confirmation. You are the sender of anything that leaves your outbox.
- No unlawful use. Don't use Stratify for fraud, harassment, unsolicited commercial email, or to process classes of personal data you are not permitted to process.
- Security. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected unauthorised access.
04 Our responsibilities
- Run the service as described in our public documentation and privacy policy.
- Notify you of breaches affecting your data within 72 hours of confirmation.
- Honour export and deletion requests without friction.
- Give at least 14 days' notice before materially changing these terms or our subprocessor list.
05 Data ownership
You own your mailbox content and any artifacts (summaries, drafts, memory) produced from it. Stratify is granted a limited licence to process that content solely to run the service on your behalf. That licence ends when you disconnect or delete your account.
Stratify owns the software, models, and derived aggregate analytics that contain no identifying information about you or your messages.
06 AI output
Stratify generates summaries, tags and drafts using large language models. Output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should read and verify AI output before acting on it. Stratify is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of unreviewed AI output.
07 Availability & changes
We aim for high availability and will publish a status page at general availability. During the pilot we may take the service offline for maintenance with short notice. We may also change, deprecate or remove features. When we remove a feature you rely on, we will tell you before we do it.
08 Termination
Either side can terminate at any time. You can disconnect your mailbox and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend access if we believe an account is being used unlawfully, is putting the service at risk, or is materially violating these terms; we notify you when we do this and explain why.
09 Warranty disclaimer
During the pilot, Stratify is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties; in those places this section applies to the maximum extent permitted.
10 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stratify's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim or (b) US$100. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved in the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance; if you do not accept the new terms, you can disconnect and delete your account before they apply.
